Popcaan didn’t feel Safaree party jam “Hot Gyal BDay,” released earlier this week. The video featured Safaree in a 90s-style leotard and a Lionel Richie curly wig, while she danced in the music video.
Popcaan immediately reacted to the Shade Room video and asked Safaree about his latest gimmicks.
“Hey bwoy yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Popcaan clearly questioned the decisions of the Jamaican-born rapper in the comments section.
Safaree teased the track ahead of his birthday, which falls on Independence Day weekend. The single is not for everyone. Safaree is a character and many don’t take him seriously. Many continue to see him as Nicki Minaj’s former backup dancer.
