Nearly two years after getting shot, Rygin King sent his fans a motivational message.

The fans of Rygin King dancehall artiste were pleasantly surprised to find that the “Glu” entertainer was well and in a positive mindset on Friday. He delivered a powerful motivational message to all who listened. King is actually Matthew Smith. In the video, he is seen sitting in front of a baby-blue piano, sharing with viewers that no matter what life throws at him, there are always reasons to keep going and work towards achieving his goals.

“This morning, me just want remind everyone out there to believe inna themselves. You hear what I a sey? No matter how hard you work, you can see the vision and execute your zimi. Only you can see it, and make it a reality. So believe inna youself. He shared his gratitude.

Smith was injured and shot in Westmoreland in June 2020. The shooting resulted in Smith’s girlfriend being killed. He was quickly taken to the hospital and underwent an operation. He has been in recovery since then and asked for prayers from his fans.

Rygin King fans were thrilled to see him in sunny California and eagerly accepted his wisdom. One fan said, “Needed this.” No joke right deh so me artist. One chimed in, “Blessings to the king,” while another said, “I found it at the right moment.” Believe me fada nah lie. This is motivation for me artist. Don’t stop ennuh. I am a fully dunce king. Any other king, a napkin.”
