It has been confirmed that the Jamaica Constabulary Force Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) has interviewed the mother of the 9-year-old, Gabriel King, whose body was found along Fairfield Main Road in St. James.
According to police, more people need to be interviewed regarding the incident. Police reports that the child’s throat had been slit.
Preliminary reports indicate that the woman and her son were driving in their Audi motor car when she stopped at a section on the road. Two men approached the car and struck the woman in the face.
The men then allegedly forced the woman out of the vehicle and drove off with her son inside.
The incident was reported to the police by the mother after which an investigation was initiated.
The body of the boy and the car were discovered along Fairfield Main Road.
