It’s all about the “Rich Walk” for 2022 according to Ding Dong. His latest track was released on Sunday, January 2. Ravers’ frontman is back with a dance move that will liven up the party scene.

Ding Dong is a dancer and a big hype man in the music industry. He has a number of dance-inspired songs like “Flairy”, “Skip to My Luu,” “New Dip” and “Skip to My Luu.” Ding Dong whose real name is Kemar Ottey, has set it his personal goal to “nice up” the music industry. The song is currently ranked seventeenth on YouTube. It has received over 35,000 views. People are practicing their foot and shoulder moves to be able to do this and still look cool. Artists take themselves too seriously and promote songs that reflect the harsh realities of poverty and living on the streets as well as criminal activity.

The two-minute video was produced by Chimney Records, distributed by Marvment and features Ding Dong with six of his energetic friends. They dance around him doing the basic motion that shows their arms straight out and moving up and down in a see-saw-like motion. It’s simple, fun, and very easy to do.

Ding Dong explained that the “Rich Walk” is the new thing and even though he’s not yet rich, he hopes to be soon enough.

“She waa rich, young millionaire, nine figure, ten figure” / Money fi nuff as air. You haffi have rich walks, stop talking crap you sh*t. Me nuh rich yet, but see who ago laughs when the ting sets, dem gyal gets wey d duck get. / Mek der gyal blows d tinglike trumpet, while life sets / So ketch, the rich walk. Dem slow as a snail, dem a crawler walk / Me nuh begin live nuh life yet but the dreams wey me are priceless / Post any me waa my matter don’t privat, me tingling loud Coronation Market,” he deejays.

The new song is loved by many fans. One commenter said, “Finally a dance I can do and where the men don’t whine up like girls.” Another said, “Whew!” and another added, “This is fun and lively.” This is what Dancehall lacks. Ravers cannot do it all on their own. We need more crews to bring that sauce and flava.
