Bounty Killer Responds to Being Banned on Instagram over Crime Stop Post

After a post in which he attacked the police commissioner, Bounty Killer’s official account on Instagram was deactivated.

Instagram works hard to ensure that its community is safe. They encourage freedom of speech but have strict guidelines for their community to protect their users. It seems that Bounty Killer, the veteran dancehall star, may have crossed the line. His Instagram account was deactivated. After sharing his views on political and government issues in Jamaica, this blow is coming.

He has now forfeited his 897 000 followers by violating Instagram’s community guidelines. He has since created a secondary Instagram account called @1unostargeneral to keep his followers updated.

The Five Star General expressed his views on the matter in an Instagram post that he posted earlier this week. After submitting a request to Instagram for his original Instagram account to be reactivated, he also shared a picture of the confirmation screen.

The caption he added to the post was “Dat Dutty Swimstagram tell me three day ago and all now, but mi not sweating about nuh blood *****page. mi are worse than the internet.

Bounty Killer has a new page that is making the rounds. It currently has more than 41 thousand followers.

His posts about the events of the week that led to his Instagram account being deactivated revolved around the demands of the government for wage increases. The strike was called by employees of the National Water Commission (NWC) and the National Housing Trust. A strike by air traffic control officers resulted in the grounding and cancellation of many flights.

The Governor of the Poor People did not hesitate in defending the workers. He took to his Instagram page to demand that Andrew Holness, the Prime Minister, and others address their concerns and pay them accordingly. He called them “slave drivers” and went on to call them slave drivers.

Price addressed Anthony Anderson, the Commissioner of Police, and called him a lunatic for taking him out of a Crime Stop advertisement for “not being an ideal role model to help in mitigating criminality in the country”, as Bounty reported.

In a post shared to his Instagram, he posted a clip from the advertisement captioned “Di big stupid lunatic commissioner took my off Crime Stop ads saying I’m not fit enough for help fight or denounce criminality since he is why crime [the] is so high.”

He concluded his positive remarks by saying that “Is it either we gonna love, cherish and support each other [or] are we all going to perish with one another.”

Despite his rants about the media in the last week, Bounty Killer is still optimistic and continues to share his views on current social issues.
