The dancehall singer seemed to respond to the controversy involving his brother, Unruly producer Jelly bads, who was allegedly the victim of a cyber crime.

Popcaan is trending on Twitter following his apparent reaction to a video of Jelly.

A fake Twitter account created by the producer was posted last week. It exposed his sexual proclivities and cast him in a negative light. He was seen performing acts that were considered taboo in Jamaican society. A video of him with a female and a screenshot of an allegedly producer-only video were shared.

Although he hasn’t addressed the screenshot and video posted by the dancehall DJ, he did share a cryptic Tweet that has fans wondering if he is trying to address the Jelly Bads situation.

“Yeman a anyone get Bunoff from them tunoff killy!” Friends, family, enemies ETC! It’s impossible to stop the unruly! That’s Memba! Memba that!

Jelly Bads has not spoken publicly since the incident but many people have been following him on social media.

Popcaan’s sister Annalecia Sutherland, aka Unrulysquid has accepted him as her brother. She shared a post eighteen weeks ago to celebrate his birthday.

Popcaan is often referred to as his brother by many online. It is unclear what their relationship is. Poppy shouts out Jelly Bads in his song “El Gringo”, as well as “Elevate” in his song.

Other songs were also recorded by the two of them under his Jelly Records label. “My Type” was released on Valentine’s Day 2018.

Popcaan removed his Instagram account from the producer who had 13.3K fans. His Twitter account was also deleted.

Popcaan fans have reacted on Twitter to the tweet with mixed reactions. One fan tweeted, “Nah lie…cyaah Back Popcaan Pon Dis yah Drake & dem rapper deh openly eat cat fi breakfast lunch dinner and u good Wid dat But a U bredda U Cut ….den Again a every dancehall artist stay so still.”
